Winner of 10-Men's Stylist Awards
Hot Off the Press: Lady Jane's Haircuts for Men's latest styling award has been given to us by NBC Channel 4 News. Now that's exciting!!! Why would men or boys choose anyone over Lady Janes Haircuts for Men? IT'S WICKED AWESOME!
Although the field is called King Boring, The 4th Annual Detroit Lions Softball game was anything but on Saturday, June 8, 2013 in Dearborn, MI. Bats were booming and a delirious crowd of spectators and warmer than expected temperatures set the stage for a softball extravaganza for a great cause.
Led by two active Detroit Lion gridiron heroes, Team Tulloch vs. Team Burleson turned out to be a game for the ages, as fans of all ages were on hand to witness and marvel at this spectacle of professional athletes and local celebrities trying their best to play the game of softball. Lady Jane's, the primary sponsor of the event, was represented at the plate and in the field by none-other than their CEO, Chad Johnson, who did everything under his power to end the game without a groin pull. Johnson came close to winning the "player of the game" for Team Tulloch as he went 4-5 with 6 RBI's and a home run.
"This was a great day for sure," said Johnson. "The people loved it, the players had a great time, and a substantial amount of money was raised for a great cause. I can't wait for next year."
Despite a valiant effort by Bill Bentley, Ashley Palmer and Johnson, Team Tulloch fell short and Team Burleson won 28-21. "Tully" gave his all until the end. He even took a laser shot from the bat of Offensive Lineman Jason Fox right off his chest.
When it comes to going the distance, the "Player of the Game" was Lions WR, Kris Durham from Team Burleson. He hit two dingers with one traveling more than 360 feet. He also made numerous solid plays in the field. He made up for Nate Burleson's strike out! That's right the self proclaimed best athlete on the field whiffed on three pitches. Come on Nate! Chad Johnson was seen in the field ribbing Burleson for his shortcomings at the plate.
A great day was had by all and most importantly, thousands of dollars were raised for the CATCH Foundation and the Stephen Tulloch Foundation through sponsorships, ticket and concession sales. Fans were able to meet some of their favorite Lions and everybody had a great time.
